How YASS receives community contributions, earns referral-related income and uses its resources to support residents and community programs.

Our activities are funded through monthly contributions from registered community households, referral-related payments from non-government service providers, employment referral commissions from participating companies, and donations. We use these resources for community programs and day-to-day organizational operations.
YASS receives financial support through the following community-based and service-related activities.
Registered households contribute a monthly amount to YASS. These contributions help fund local support activities, community programs and ongoing society operations.
Contribution details are communicated to registered households.
YASS refers residents to relevant non-government service providers for services that meet their needs. YASS receives referral-related payments from participating providers under its referral arrangements.
YASS does not receive referral commissions for directing residents to government services. Residents can choose whether to use a referred provider.
YASS connects suitable residents and job seekers with employment opportunities at participating companies. The society receives commissions from companies for qualifying employment referrals under the relevant arrangements.
Referral arrangements are handled transparently and do not guarantee employment or placement.
YASS welcomes donations from individuals and organizations to support community programs and residents in need. The society also seeks eligible institutional and grant funding for its activities.

YASS spends its income on community activities, resident assistance, program delivery and necessary operational expenses. We aim to keep our spending transparent and clearly connected to the society’s work.
Community welfare activities, awareness initiatives, resident assistance, youth engagement and program delivery.
Program coordination, referral administration, learning resources, communication, office costs and necessary infrastructure.
Reasonable staff remuneration, professional services, records management, statutory obligations and approved operational expenses.
We maintain clear information about how funds are spent on programs, services and routine operations. Funds are used to support the society’s objectives rather than distributed as personal profits.
When YASS receives a referral payment or employment-related commission, we explain relevant financial arrangements and keep residents’ needs and freedom of choice at the centre of referral decisions.
Donations or grants given for a particular program or purpose are used for that stated purpose, in accordance with the relevant funding conditions.
