Purpose

To foster direct bonds of trust with local residents, identify hidden household vulnerabilities, and ensure no family in Sontek is left without vital community services.

Volunteer Activities

  • •Door-to-door resident outreach in paired volunteer teams.
  • •Distribution of informational brochures, health leaflets, and helpline stickers.
  • •Recording basic resident requests and escalating urgent medical/welfare cases to the YASS desk.
  • •Community survey data collation and post-outreach feedback reporting.

Who Can Join

Volunteers aged 16 and above with good communication skills in Bengali, a polite demeanor, and a commitment to respectful community interaction. First-time volunteers welcome.
